Oh that looks really nice Cherry, is the desk black or just dark varnish? Whatever it is, it looks great, and bet it doesn't last the week!
Jen, The desk is a dark brown stain and the base was made to match. Don't you just love the old stuff?
Love it...I have a slanted desk probably from the 7o's that I have painted a barn red...after seeing the dark one of yours I think I'll do mine black:)
Rondell
What a wonderful gathering. I love it. I love antiques!
Pam
You get the best pieces. Just wonderful!!
Rondell, Your desk probably will look great painted black. Have you thought of sanding where the natural wear would be and letting some of the red show?
I love finding the antiques and then knowing they have found good homes. We antiquers share the same passion.
