Saluting Our Nation

Our family is spending the week in Washington D.C. Two sons, two grandsons husband and me to celebrate July 4th at our nations capitol. We look forward to the evening with spectactular fireworks and touring historic sights through the week.

Snap Shots!

 Handmade stack boxes made locally. You could stash a bunch of treasures in these little cuties. The whole stack is probably only twenty inches high so would fit easily on a table top.

Jill Peterson's Simple Life Special Edition has just come in. We also have her summer edition. Mercantile Gatherings is in too with their cheery patriotic cover. All three magazines are full of prim eye candy.

Oops!

... techno I am not and now very disappointed. I had a really sweet picture of Jackson the son of Jennifer Wade. He was holding a huge bunch of sunflowers while sitting in his stroller. His mommy and grammy were purchasing them and he was being a helper. For some reason I could not get it downloaded from my phone as I have done in the past. Something about not excepting the file! Grrrh!!

That moment was so precious and I so wanted to share.

Aged Tin Lighting

Hand made Tin Lighting in an aged primitive finish has just arrived. Looks so much better in person.

Freshing Up

Added a red coverlet to brighten up this old brass bed. Lady Liberty sitting in the middle of it.as pretty as she pleases. Touches of red and blue here and there give a patriotic feel.

Grandmother's Buttons

Grandmother's Buttons are designed by a company in Louisiana. They use old buttons and findings to make unique necklaces, bracelets and pendants. We also now have brass pendants designed and made in the USA by another talented artist. The initial pendants have been very popular. If you would like something different these two companies will be a good fit.
