This scoop is wonderful. The old metal is accented with two red wood handles. I have not seen one this large before. Can you picture it decorated for the holidays? It would look good with pumpkins and fall leaves tumbling out . At Christmas it would hold a small tree and Santa or snowman nestled by the tree. Everyday a gathering of crocks or enamel ware might be interesting.

I had a scoop like that, sold it this week, a lady was goind to use it in her flower bed someway...won't that look cool?
Jen, That sounds like a neat idea. I sold this one yesterday but don't know what it was used for. Do you have any idea? It must have been to scoop light weight grain or feed?
Yes, thats what we always call them, grain scoops.
