Chicks and Hens For sale reminds me of my childhood at Easter time. Our neighborhood grocery had multi colored chicks for sale at the front of the store. That certainly would be unheard of nowadays. Our chicks grew to be a rooster and hens until the crowing bothered the neighbors. The little stuffed hen will not do any mischief since she is sitting quietly on "her" nest.
The sweet little sheep on wheels are made by Arnett's Country store. I love the black sheep because there has to be at least one in every crowd.
