fireplace fall

When I bought this old fireplace mantle the paint was peeling bad and it was UGLY. After some scraping the loose paint and adding a fresh coat of an autumn brown color I believe the end result is interesting. Of course it fits well with the fall decor that happens to be sitting on top.

I love the fireplace that you painted and how you decorated it for fall. I also love the stitchries on the wall!

I see fall is near!

Have a great holiday weekend.

gorgeous! i especially love the greens with berries in the crock! where did you find those??? Its so hard to find real looking artificial berries... or ARE they real?? thanx for sharing

The berries and leaves in the crock are artificial. I go to several markets in search of really natural looking floral. That is one thing my customers expect at the shop and I try my hardest to find that "perfect" stem or twig.
