Folky Cats and Hats

These creations made in Ohio add some whimsey to our country decor. The cats are in two different sizes and can be tucked about anywhere. The witches hat has a creepy spider crawling on the top of the hat. What fun !!!

Scarecrow

Scarecrows add that touch of fall and this little guy is certainly prim. He doesn't look like he is scaring crows since he has one tucked in his bag. This guy will hang or sit nicely with a group of pumpkins.

Pumpkins Gourds Sign

Yes this way for pumpkins and gourds. They are flying out the door probably because everyone is sooooooo ready for fall. More fall goodies are still on the way.

Prim Folkart Sisters

These girls certainly have a weary look on their faces after working the fields. Each has hand stitched faces and carries a bag of wool or flax depending on the job for the day. They are sold separately but look nice as a pair.

Woven Textiles

These Family Heirloom textiles add an early look for the home. We now have table squares that will be good for fall decorating. If you have wanted to freshen up a bedroom there is a nice selection of bedding that might fit the need.

Black Crow Candles

Perfect just in time for fall , a new shipment of candles has arrived. The jars have a great look with a textured prim finish. They are offered in a variety of six fragrances that evoke the thought of homebaked goodies. Come in to take a whiff !

Early Basket and Chair

A very simply grouping of bittersweet in an early basket. The walnut splint chair is painted mustard and is from Ohio.

Prim Black Doll

This little gal is right at home in the windsor chair. She and her crow friend have taken a break from playing in the bittersweet. I think her black jacket sets her ticking dress off perfectly.

Fall Gatherings

Sweet little pumpkin guy with his crow checking out the bowl of grungy pumpkins . The blocks to the right will spell out both...Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving. That gives them a longer use for the fall.

Bittersweet and Pumpkins

Pumpkins (resin) tumbling out of an old basket with a really nice looking branch of bittersweet. We Texas girls have to be content with artificial bittersweet because it is not native to us. A table square from Family Heirloom Weavers adds the finishing touch.

The Vegetable Garden

Well its not mine but my sweet friend Coralie's garden. Another friend, Ann and I spent a "girls weekend" in Richardson, Texas at Coralie's lovely home and gardens. The three of us have been friends for twenty-nine years and it is always a treat to reunite. We spent the time shopping, eating, and laughing into the wee hours. What a joy to have dear friends.

This has been a hectic week trying to catch up since I was out playing over the weekend. I will just say fall is poking its head into Gatherings with new shipments coming in daily.
