Old Cupboards

I wanted to share pictures of two old cupboards I just brought in. This first one is an old pine cupboard. The boards are really wide and the patina has a wonderful warmth. Neither pictures do them justice.

The second cupboard is a screened blue/grey pie safe. I have not had one like this in years and I love the tall legs. I love finding these good old cabinets. Even better finding good homes for them. Both of these were sold Saturday so they will be leaving soon.

Sping Inside

Our skies may be grey and raindrops falling on our heads but there is a bit of Spring inside the store. Flowers, bunnies and other bits of new await you. We have started receiving our goods from our market trip and as quick as they get priced out they come.

A few of the goodies that I carried home from market or that just came in this week. We have a nice selection of new signs plus yes, bunnies. If you are wanting to add a bit of color to your decor check out our new floral in the store.

It was great to visit with old friends, compare ideas and to see some really wonderful prims under one roof. Market was successful and good things to come.

To Market To Market To BUY......

....a fat pig as in the old nursery rhyme or maybe not unless he is prim perfect. Actually I am off again for my annual trip to Pennsylvania to buy for the shop. I leave Saturday and will be back in the shop next Thursday with some of my finds.

Many people have asked if the shop will be open while I am gone. The answer is : YES !!

Color !! Mustard!!

Mustard color to brighten any table or in this case a cupboard. I love the contrast of the mustard and black. These dishes just came in and Kathy did a nice job pricing and displaying them.

Sit A Spell

So many of you have said you would love to just sit in "our favorite" room so I have added a chair for that purpose. This room makes us think of earlier generations and their way of life before electronics took over.
