Mimi's Cubboard

A bit closer shot of this very unique cupboard. We have it set for a bathroom but would look nice with some yellow ware in the kitchen or dining room.

Night stand

A closer photo of Primitiques night stand / dry sink. It would be a perfect addition to any bedroom or practically any place in the house. The one shown is black over mustard.

New Shipment

It is always fun to see a truck pull up because that means there are new goodies coming. Well Thursday three different deliveries were made. The most exciting was Primitiques furniture and some of their new smalls. The step back cupboard is my personal favorite. Maybe one will go home with me someday. The Mimi cupboard to the right and the dry sink are also some of new pieces also. I will show more photos of the smalls and closer pics of the furniture in the days to come.

Tinware

A cabinet full of tinware that has just arrived. The candlesticks are pewter plated and that gives them a nice look.

Cobbler's Bench

The old cobbler's bench has seen years of use and still would make an interesting coffee table. I love the drawer in the front, a good place to tuck away those remotes. The plaid chair in the picture is a wing back recliner . The other chair is such a good size that it can go just about in any space.

What Next ?

This week several customers were asking how could they decorate after Easter since its a while before the next holiday. I quickly gathered a few things together to perhaps spark the imagination. I think of Spring as anything garden related from a watering can to picket fences. Some of the things you might even have tucked in your own gardening supplies. Drag them out and add them to your table grouping or arrangement by the front door. Of course always a little spring floral will finish the look.

Soap Grouping

Sometimes it is interesting to let a picture come to life or in other words be inspired. The old rub board, towel and soap in this print led to the grouping on the wall . It just all seems to fit together.

Stack Boxes And Dolls

Newly arrived hand painted stack boxes and sweet little handmade dolls fill this cupboard. The boxes and dolls are from New York state . The step back cupboard is one that is built locally.
