Old Tool Carriers

I just love old wood carriers. My grandad was a finish carpenter and I feel that he probably had something like one of these to carry his tools in. That must be where I got my love of old wood. There are so many ways to use carriers now, such as hide the remote, organize a desk, or collections that look better grouped together. Notice the old dry paint on the door..it will make a nice room divide or headboard.

Jen, I bet that blue carrier looks great on your table. Do you decorate it seasonally?

I love the simplicity of it empty...It is made out of old wood...Sometimes I fill it with Fall items or Christmas, but the rest of the year it sits empty...My house is going to be in the next issue of Mercantile Gatherings...I hope it will be in one of the pictures...

I look forward to seeing your house in Mercantile Gatherings. That is exciting! It is always fun to see another country home and how it is decorated.
