Boy you are right the tray just finished the statement on that grouping.Love it.
Since taking the picture I have added a pantry cake wrapped in aged cheesecloth. It really finishes the grouping making it look like the cake had come out of the redware mould.
That looks great Cherry, I love the colors.
Gathering several early pieces on a tray makes them stand together as a statement. Otherwise they could be lost on the table by themselves.
