Today we got in a box with these neat little wax warmers. One is a "nest" of bowls and the other shaker boxes. They will be great for those new melts that just came in. Also pictured is Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty.
Monday morning finds me looking to the week ahead and what I will be doing at the shop. If those Birch wreaths don't come in this week I am throwing up my hands. I soooo! love hanging all those great wreaths on the walls but I have to watch my contacts. The wreaths look really nice over a fireplace or up high on a wall where a picture would look weird otherwise. The smaller ones look nice in a grouping of items with a shelf, or hanging with pictures. I will take some "grouping" shots and post those soon. That is if they get here.
Just got in some yummy smelling melts in the shape of cookies. The two kinds pictured are Cinnamon Apple and Orange Spice. The other fragrances are Cinna- Bunz, Hazel Nut Creme Java and Carmel Spice Crows. Also got in a rosehip potpourri with wax apple slices in the Cinnamon Apple scent.
Don't forget to click on the photos for a closer view.
Very primitive horse on wheels and made by Arnett's. New things are arriving weekly. Just today we got in samplers, iron candle holders, and easter table mats. Hopefully tomorrow or at least by Tuesday we will have our new shipment of birch wreaths. The shop is very full of some great "gatherings",stop by to see for yourself.
This table has the "aged" cheesecloth and many resin bunnies. This is only a small sampling because there are many handmade bunnies and chicks in the store. Of course if you have bunnies they need carrots and we have some nice fabric ones.
The candle holder has a place under the candle for seasonal items. This one has quail eggs but the possiblities are endless. Imagine birdseed, potpourri, rag balls or for the holidays pumpkins or red bells. I have set the arrangement on cheesecloth running down a farm table. You could coffee dye the cloth for a more aged look which has been done for another table . The two friends have just arrived from the creative hands of Arnett's. The rabbit is a little cocky with his ear poised to listen to the darling lamb on wheels. They make such a sweet statement to Spring.
New merchandise is arriving each week since my recent trip to the gift market at Valley Forge. Here is a sample of new items already in the store. This primitive, handmade rabbit and his little chick on a branch is just perfect for the season. I will be adding more photos soon and giving details about our upcoming promotion this month.
Welcome, Friends! I have been in the antique business more than 20 years. I totally enjoy finding unusual items, both old and new, that can be used to decorate my home and shop. My shop is located on the southwest side of Houston in Stafford,Texas.
